Rapunzel made sure to book herself a few days off for Peter's spring break from school. They've both been busy, him with his classes and her with her work, and they could both use a few days to have nothing to do. She doesn't mind the work, and still finds it quite pleasing to actually have productive things filling her days, but even a busy a bee as her needs to take breaks.

Today is Peter's last class for a week, and Rapunzel has two finished commissions to deliver in the city before she's also free. The clients are pleasant, but the highlight of Rapunzel's day is when she finds a sale on bathing suits and sundresses at a boutique that she likes. It's still a little too cold for her to wear them just yet, but it's close enough to get excited and spend a little bit of the money she just earned.

Peter still isn't back when Rapunzel gets home, so she and Pascal head into the bedroom with her shopping bags so she can put things away. She ends up trying a few on instead, and she's lounging at her vanity in suit number three, working on braiding one thinner chunk of hair when she hears the front door open and close.

"Welcome home!" She shouts out as she jumps to her feet and heads down the hall, pausing in the frame at the end of it to strike a pose, one hand on her cocked out hip as she holds up a peace sign with the other. "I went shopping for things I don't need. How was your day?"

Huffing out a laugh, he admitted, "Nothing in the bag," even as he stooped to carefully dig around inside.

He pulled out something that was a jewel-toned blue. It looked like it was technically a one piece, but there were big cutouts along the torso, and he was curious how something like that would even work. "Uh, this one?"
